LaRegina a voice with a truly resonant
and hypnotic tone
Gesang spielt in LaReginas leben schon als Teenagerin eine große Rolle fasziniert und inspiriert von großen Soul Stimmen der 90er, wie Toni Braxton oder Mariah Carey.
Der Gedanke professionell Musik zu machen ließ sie nie wirklich los. Sie sang als Teenagerin im Chor dann später in diversen Projekten sowie im Background. Auf ihrem Weg entdeckte sie, dass Schreiben, fand aber lange Zeit nicht die passende Plattform Ihre Talente professionell auszuleben.
Jedoch alles zu seiner Zeit
Alles fügte sich, als sie 2018 beim in Basel ansässigen Label, Vybez Studio landete. Hier hatte sie die Möglichkeit nun endlich die Musik zu kreiren, die sie liebt. Besser spät als nie und umso besser kann sie nun Ihre Erfahrung in aussagekräftige Texte verwandeln. Zusammen mit ihrer Soul-Stimme und den verschiedenen Musikeinflüßen kreiert sie dadurch etwas ganz Eigenes.
In jeder Situation findet sich Inspiration, daher nehmen ihre Texte die unterschiedlichsten Stimmungen auf. Es gibt keine Grenzen „alles, was ich fühle kann neu und individuell gefühlt werden" als Soundtrack zum Leben, authentisch und vor allem mit viel Seele.
LaRegina passt in keine Schublade, sie legt Wert auf Schattierungen und liebt das Hinterfragen. Daher findet man in Ihren Songs alles wieder, was sie bewegt, in der Hoffnung zu bewegen.
Momentan arbeitet sie an ihrem ersten Album, welches voraussichtlich im Frühjahr/ Sommer 2021 erscheinen wird.
Musikalisch festlegen lässt sie sich typischerweise nicht. Es werden über Reggae, Trap, R'n'B bis Pop viele Einflüsse vertreten sein. Man kann auf ein vorwiegend deutschsprachiges Werk mit vielen Farben und Stimmungen gespannt sein.
ince teenage days singing always played a role in her life. Fascinated and inspired by huge soul voices of the 90s like Mariah Carey or Toni Braxton, she dreamed of becoming a professional singer. She began singing in a choir and later participated in a couple of projects doing background vocals. As, the years passed by she lost focus due to missed opportunites. With increased motivation she re-discovered her self confidence and began writing her own material.
Now back on track and more motivated than ever with the belief that everything happens at the “right” time
Everything finally fell into place once she started working with the Vybez Studio Basel. There she was able to create the music she always dreamed about.
Better late than never, her own personal experiences became beneficial to her writing. She combines them with her strong soul voice using different music influences and creates an individual and unique style.
She believes that “Inspiration can be found in any situation, life is an inspiration itself" which is echoed in her lyrics reflecting on any type of life situation. “There is no limitation everything I feel can be felt in its own and individual way and as a soundtrack to life mixed with a lot of soul" LaRegina does not fit in any box.
She likes questioning things seeing the world in all different colours. All that moves and inspires her can be found in her songs and she hopes that it will also move others
LaRegina she is currently working on her first Album which is expected to be released spring/ summer 2021
When it comes to the music, it ticks all the boxes from
Reggae to rap, R'n'B, pop/soul influences.
You can look forward to a German album which encompasses diverse colors as well as moods. Definitely something for everyone.
